This kit will make a beautiful, Soft Cotton Coverlet.
Made on vintage looms by Family Heirloom Weavers of Red Lion, PA
This particular overshot pattern is Attributed to Sarah Elizabeth Williams Welch (b.1866) in Granger County, Tennessee. Although, the checkerboard pattern predates her coverlet by many years making it appropriate for a number of living history eras
Approx 2" Squares worked on Taupe Ground
Kit consists of two pieces, 36" Wide x 80" Long . Washed and ready to be joined lengthwise with 1/4" seam, then finished with a 1/2" rolled hem.
Finished coverlet will be approx 71.5" Wide x 78" Long
Weighs 3.75 pounds
This coverlet is extremely versatile and is just a useful in your modern home as in your living history home.
