The original of this handkerchief is housed in the New York Historical Society. It was made in 1860-1861 and belonged to a Union solider named Horace Squier (unknown state or regiment). A great patriotic statement with "The Union Constitution and the Flag Must and Shall Be Upheld". Our reproduction is cotton and measures 28x32 inches, so is very large. A great piece for your round out your Union military or civilian impression!
Wash cold and line dry before using.
