"New" Old Stock pure cotton thread.
"Suture Cotton"
This thread is extremely strong. (Approximate weight of button/carpet thread) Suitable for a variety of uses including attaching buttons or anywhere a strong thread is desired.
Made by Gudebrod Brothers in the mid 20th century this is still as strong and supple as the day it was produced.
***Note: ***Some spools may have a slight discoloration on the first 'wrap' or two, this is from storage in brown/waxed paper and does not affect the strength of the thread.
Remove the first couple of rounds and it will be the original unbleached white color.
